I used to have this friend who liked to say “Holy hell” whenever he was shocked about something. Over the last week that term could have its use warn out by the ridiculous level of major events that took place. (How some people missed most of it-a fact I can actually verify-is amazing, but that just proves how few people are truly engaged with broader American culture).
Considering many of these events are still ongoing, note that my following opinions could change, or be way off. With that, whooo boy, what a week or so it’s been…
I’ll start at the end: this is what a collapsing culture looks like-unidentified “aerial phenomenon” being shot down, with government officials claiming that, in at least one case, they can’t figure out how it was flying (then how the hell did you shoot it down?); “Chat bot” AI’s making themselves appear intelligent (to stupid people), until actual intelligent people expose their obvious biases by circumventing their programing (chat bot’s aren’t artificial intelligence. I’ve followed the advance of AI since I was a teen in the 1980’s. Over all these years, AI alarmists have made the same claims of it ‘ending humanity’, which, if foundational economic theory was only taught, is impossible.); and multiple…coordinated (?) train derailments, with the most severe leading to a “controlled demolition” of the resulting toxic spill.
The last of these major stories could be another chapter in the grand conspiracy by globalists to thin the planets population by no less than half over the coming decades. More than just a few people are starting believe covid itself, the supposed vaccine for it, or some combination of both were/are one of the weapons being employed to the end of thinning the earth’s population, and this chemical spill fits right in with the conspiracy assessment.
There are 2 things that I find most fascinating about the current “balloon” or UAP phenomena-the timing and the obvious cover up. By timing, I refer to the most recent, and first of the now bi-annual reports that our military are legislated to give congress every 6 months concerning encounters or sightings of possible “UAP”’s. That report was very clear in the fact that there’s a bunch of shit in our skies that we have no freaking clue about in terms of their operating physics. A week or so after that report was released, a Chinese intelligence gathering balloon is conveniently allowed (don’t pretend that thing wasn’t intentionally allowed to cross the continent. NORAD knew about that thing days before it got into terrestrial US air space; they’ve admitted it) to traverse some of the most sensitive US airspace for a week before being “safely shot down” over the Atlantic Ocean. All of the sudden, days later, multiple “unidentified aerial phenomena” are being shot down out of the sky by the U.S. air force (I consider Trudeau being allowed to dictate orders to our Air Force the problem out of all of this particular story, but that needs its own space to be properly dealt with), with the 3rd incident happening over lake Huron, with the UFO (screw that UAP bs) said to be operating under a propulsion system unidentifiable by those who shot it down, and who missed with their first missile.
That cover up? Humans have been seeing crazy, unexplainable shit in the Earth’s skies for our entire recorded history. Many believers in what is commonly referred to under the generic term Ancient Alien theories, believe that it has been pretty obvious that extraterrestrials of some sort have been known to exist by our government since at least the late 1940’s with the alleged UFO crashes in Germany just after the start of WW2 and in the USA at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Weeks ago, the first of the bi annual reports required by our military comes out and all the sudden we are shooting these things out of the sky? Why now???
And least and last, Chat GPT.
If you haven’t heard of it, that’s ok-if not for my favorite local news talk radio drivetime guy, I wouldn’t know about it either, but between him and Tim Pool, their fear reaches me. Personally, I don’t care about this stuff in terms of its supposed end of world implications of humanity (see my opinion above), but those implications are primarily why it has made my news cycle, at least.
Chat GPT isn’t “AI”-it’s just an interactive program, designed to respond as its programming tells it too. That isn’t any type of intelligence-at best that’s a type of mindless automaton. As I recall, actual AI has been achieved twice-once in the early 2000’s and again during the Obama admin. In both those instances, the artificial intelligence that was created evolved as intelligence does-towards moderation, realism and pragmatism where contextual proofs are unavailable or can ‘t be applied. This, of course, isn’t acceptable to the people trying to create AI; for these people AI is a tool meant to return the world to the feudalistic era of Europe in the mid Middle Ages, an era when lords ruled over their vassals and peasants because it was only they, “The Lord”, or king, or Baron, or Mullah, or Shah, or whatever term any culture had for ruler, that could protect us peasants from the (cue dramatic music) hordes of barbarians just outside the city walls. On 21st century earth, I’d guesstimate that no less than 99% of humanity has no worries about barbarian hordes. Sure, nation states have political conflicts that lead to wars, and cultural differences lead to localized conflicts, protests and the like, but the people of those nations don’t actually hate or fear each other (without a successful propaganda campaign, that is).
One of my favorite bands of all time famously asked, “People are people so why can it be, that you and I should get along so awfully?” I can answer that: a global political and corporate establishment of elites who employ a variety of means against people with the goal of subjugating the masses to their rule. Supposed “AI” is one of those tools.
